Push Notifications

Push notifications let you know when players on your watchlist are coming up to bat in a live game, even when you don’t have the app open.

  1. Go to Settings (gear icon)
  2. Find the Push Notifications section
  3. Click Enable Notifications
  4. Your browser will ask for permission — click Allow

You’ll see a confirmation with your device name and a Send Test option to verify it’s working.

You’ll receive a push notification when:

  • A watchlisted player comes up to bat in a live MLB game
  • The game monitoring system detects the at-bat start

To avoid notification spam, the system enforces a 30-minute cooldown per player. If the same player bats again within 30 minutes, you won’t get another notification.

Push subscriptions are per-device. If you enable notifications on both your phone’s browser and your laptop, you’ll receive notifications on both. You can manage and remove individual device subscriptions in Settings.

In Settings, click Disable Notifications to unsubscribe the current device. To remove all subscriptions across all devices, use Remove All Subscriptions.

  • Not receiving notifications? Check that your browser has notification permissions enabled for the site. On mobile, the app must have been added to your home screen (PWA) for push to work reliably.
  • Delayed notifications? Push delivery depends on your browser and OS. Some mobile browsers batch notifications to save battery.
  • Test notification works but game notifications don’t? Make sure the game monitoring system is active (games must be live) and the player is on your watchlist.
